Melody is the Research Coordinator for TASCHA’s Global Impact Study. Her most recent work includes working as a Research Assistant for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Global Libraries Initiative. Melody’s areas of focus include impact measurement and evaluation of public access to information and communication technologies (ICT) programs; the intersection of ICT, public libraries, and development; and crisis informatics. She is also interested in research communications and dissemination, particularly for non-academic audiences. Previous research experience includes fieldwork and data analysis for the U.S. Impact Study, in collaboration with the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation U.S. Libraries program. Melody holds a Master of Library & Information Sciences degree from the University of Washington.
