Since 2004, TASCHA has designed and conducted impact assessment and evaluation studies in more than 25 countries. The research draws on a range of theories and analytical frameworks, and applies qualitative and quantitative methods including surveys, interviews, case studies, ethnography, storytelling, experimental designs, statistical analysis, and cost-benefit analysis. What difference does technology actually make? Are people’s lives better? What are the benefits, and at what cost? In addition to impact findings, TASCHA’s work contributes new methodological insights and understandings about how people experience technology.
