Meg is a doctoral student in the UW Information School. She joined UW for its technology and social change research community. Meg earned a Master’s of Information Science in Information Communication Technology and Development (ICTD) and a Bachelor’s of Anthropology at the University of Michigan. She is a qualitative methods researcher interested in ICT impact assessment (especially non-economic outcomes) in the areas of gender & ICT and non-expert innovation. In 2014, she was a student researcher at the Centre for Information Technology and Public Policy at IIIT-Bangalore working with ethnographer Balaji Parthasarathy. Her work with TASCHA was on impact assessment of maker spaces and co-working collaboratives.
