Rachel is currently a second-year MLIS student at the University of Washington Information School. Her research interests include digital activism, design thinking, and inclusive librarianship. Rachel’s work as the Communications Research Assistant provides support to TASCHA’s research communications work. Her previous experience includes communications roles with the City of Seattle, Town Hall, and the American Red Cross, with an emphasis on equitable information access. Rachel received her bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University in journalism and international studies, focusing on the intersection of digital activism and societal change.
