Development and Access to Information Webinar available online
Earlier this week the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) hosted a webinar discussing the recent report, Development and Access to Information. The report was produced through a partnership between IFLA and TASCHA, and demonstrates how access to information (A2I) is necessary for the economic, social, and political advancement of communities, the underpinnings of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030. The webinar, Meaningful Access to Information to Leave No One Behind, covers key points of the report, including the social, legal, and technical challenges and opportunities surrounding A2I. TASCHA’s principal research scientist Maria Garrido was a speaker for the Spanish language version.
The English, Spanish, and French version of the webinar slides are all available online at IFLA’s webinar page.
The English version webinar can either be viewed below or on Youtube here.
