The impact of COVID-19 has shown a disparity in digital literacy skills, digital equity, and (internet) connectivity in Washington state counties this issue the creation of the Digital Navigators Program will help advance digital literacy skills, digital equity, and connectivity in Washington State across members of the public in all counties and members of the public in rural counties. With our Digital Navigators Program, we will create and/or continue Digital Navigator services that culturally relevant, increase digital literacy by employing trusted advocates that are from communities, and who tend to be more accessible to their communities. With these community leaders, they can help close the digital divide within their communities and counties.
