Supplement to ICT and Public Access: Investigating the Social and Economic Impact of Public Access to Information and Communication Technologies

Therefore, in order to effectively execute the research design developed in the first phase of the project, we proposed that it would be in the interest of the project to adjust the project’s operating structure as well. IDRC agreed with this, which resulted in three additional objectives for the UW:
1. More significant role in implementing and assuring consistency across the project components (inventory, survey, and in-depth studies)
2. More significant role in analysis of the project across the studies’ results
3. Management of budgets pertaining to research activities in this project, including grants to research teams in various countries
