The role of Cultural Post Offices in the provision of public access technology services in Vietnam

The University’s primary objective for this research will be to inform GL thinking about the role of library-like institutions in public access delivery. The specific parameters of the study will be determined during a scope design phase in which a set of focused research questions will be developed in consultation with GL Program Officers. At a minimum, the study will answer questions about how CPOs are organized and how they structure their work to serve their clientele. Upon direction of the Foundation, the focus may be expanded to include analysis of how libraries work, and/or how the institutional oversight of libraries and CPUs influences the way they work.
