Allison Anderson was a Ph.D. Candidate at the Jackson School of International Studies and worked on her dissertation about women’s ICT-enabled economic participation in Jordan based on extended fieldwork as a Fulbright Research Fellow. Before coming to UW, Allison worked at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Deloitte Consulting. Allison received her M.A. from Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) where she studied International Relations and International Economics. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and Arabic & Islamic Studies from the University of Michigan. Allison hails from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
