Erin McAweeney
Biography / Positions / Education
Erin is graduate of the Master of Science in Information Management program at the University of Washington Information School. She specializes in Data Science and quantitative research methods. As a research assistant she was a part of the communications team and supported TASCHA’s research communication activities. Her research interests included accessibility and technology and journalism as a tool for social movements. Before working for TASCHA Erin worked in the Paris newsroom of the International New York Times and in the publishing house Tin House Books in Portland, OR. She got her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Strategic Communications with an emphasis on science writing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and studied at Sorbonne-Nouvelle Paris.
