Dr. Skye Naslund

Research Scientist

Skye Naslund is a geographer, mapmaker, and instructor. She holds a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Washington and teaches courses related to cartography/GIS and the geography of health, demographics, globalization, and the environment. Skye’s research explores the geography of health and disease and how ideas and knowledge about the world are communicated, particularly in digital space. In her free time, Skye enjoys sailing and going on walks with her dog, Mawson.
