Erin is a second year Master of Science in Information Management student at the University of Washington Information School. She specializes in Data Science, User Experience Design and will pursue a certificate in Environmental Management. As a Research Assistant, she is a part of the communications team and supports TASCHA’s research communication activities. Her research interests include accessibility and technology, journalism as a tool for social movements, and environmental data visualization. Before working for TASCHA, Erin worked in the Paris newsroom of the International New York Times and in the publishing house Tin House Books in Portland, OR. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Strategic Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and studied at Sorbonne-Nouvelle Paris III.
