In our digital world, having the appropriate skills to access connect with others, seek out new information, and pursue employment opportunities is now necessary. However, the skills needed to engage with those opportunities constantly change as technology continues to evolve. Based on individual social and technical environments, not every person needs the same set of skills in their toolbox. This project seeks to understand what digital skills enable different individuals and communities to participate equitably in digital life, even as technology changes.
